Aluminum Tape, Mat Board, Stickers
30 x 60 cm
Exhibited at 8x7, Toronto, Canada
2026
Vertical strips of aluminum tape bear an embossed pattern, aligned with an image on the reverse. Like a pencil rubbing, the surface becomes a window to what lies beneath. Through pressure and relief, the tape functions as a thin, permeable layer that brings the hidden graphic into view.
Impression was a part of TAPE, a group exhibition that treats adhesive tape as both tool and material, revealing the impulsive, intuitive moments of making. Showing at 8x7 gallery during the 2026 DesignTO festival.
