Ravel Vase

Paper Pulp

Exhibited at Collectible Fair, New York, US
2025

Ravel Vase is made by packing paper pulp into a mold built from coiled rope. Once dry, the rope is carefully unwound, leaving behind a ridged, spiraling surface. The resulting form suggests something fragile, but the object holds its shape with unexpected strength. The surface carries the memory of the rope, translating a temporary mold into a permanent texture.

Ravel Vase was a part of Object Boutique, a group show during Collectible Fair that brought together 15 emerging and mid-career artists across North America.
